Website Maintenance
Even basic websites need updating every now and then. Depending on time constraints and your computer skills you may not wish to take on responsibility for your site. If not, User Element can help.
How much does website maintenance cost?
User Element gives you with the flexibility to handle website maintenance based on your situation. You can either buy a monthly maintenance contract or engage us on an as-needed basis. Prices vary accordingly.
We will also take on maintenance of sites produced by other design companies, pending an examination of the code.
Maintenance contract
Having a monthly maintenance contract makes sense if you anticipate making regular changes to the site. This might apply if, for example:
- You wish to closely monitor and report on traffic on your site.
- You plan to phase-in enhancements to your website over time.
- You have content that needs to be regularly updated, for example, a special offers page or a blog.
Contracts vary by customer depending on the types of services you are looking for, and are estimated on a per customer basis. Generally contracts range from as low as $250 per month. We will quote you based on your circumstances.
As-needed maintenance
If you don't expect to make regular changes to your site, then you might prefer to work with us on an as-needed basis. In this case, you would notify us of the changes you would like implemented, and we will bill you at an hourly rate.
Hourly maintenance is billed at a rate of $50/hour to $75/hour, depending on the nature of the work with a half-hour minimum.
Self-maintainable sites
If you would like to maintain your site yourself, we can recommend and implement a content management system that is appropriate to your needs.
